FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MILITARY MEMBERS
Special services are available upon request for members of the U.S. military. These optional services are available for all military branches as well as active-duty, reserve-duty, and retired military personnel. At Hutchison Funeral Home, we believe that all those who have sacrificed and risked their lives for the protection of others deserve to be honored, and we are here to help you do just that.
Military funerals typically include the presence of a color guard as well as military personnel in uniform. If this is something you would like to include for your loved one, please let us know.
The following optional services are also available for a military funeral:
- Playing of “Taps” (bugler or recording)
- Presentation of the burial flag
- Military funeral honors*
It is important to note that viewing facilities are not available at most national cemeteries. If this is an option you are considering for the burial of your loved one, you must arrange for the funeral services to take place at a separate location.
