DIRECT CREMATION SERVICE
Direct cremation is one of the cremations services we provide at Hutchison Funeral Home when a loved one has passed. In direct cremation, the body is cremated as soon as possible without visitation or a funeral service. This option is often combined with a later memorial service in lieu of a wake or visitation.
In addition to removal, transfer from place of death, and cremation of the body, the direct cremation service at our funeral home includes filing and presentation of the death certificate and a cremation container. The cost of the cremation permit, which is required by our county, is included with direct cremation service. Direct cremation can be completed in 5 business days. The cremains can be delivered to your home or we can schedule a time for you to pick them up.
